Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using Krave and help us keep the service useful, respectful, and safe for every cookbook community.

Effective July 23, 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Krave, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Krave. If you use Krave on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding your sign-in credentials, and all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of recipes, photographs, stories, comments, and other content you submit to Krave. You grant Krave a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and share that content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the service according to your settings and instructions.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to upload and share it. Please respect copyrights, privacy rights, family wishes, and other people’s personal information. Krave may remove content that violates these terms, the law, or the rights of others.

4. Cookbooks, contributors, and sharing

Cookbook owners may invite contributors, manage access, change sharing settings, and edit or remove content in cookbooks they control. Contributors should understand that cookbook owners may manage their submissions.

Public cookbooks and recipes shared by public or unrestricted links may be viewed and shared by others. You are responsible for choosing settings appropriate for your content and intended audience.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Krave for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
  • upload content that infringes another person’s rights or contains malicious code;
  • harass others, impersonate someone, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • interfere with the service or use automated means to scrape or overload it;
  • resell or exploit Krave except as expressly permitted by us.

6. Trials, subscriptions, and payments

Krave may offer free trials and paid subscription plans. Plan details, prices, billing periods, and included features will be shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

You may cancel through the available account or billing controls. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and fees already paid are nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may change plans or prices with reasonable advance notice.

7. Service changes and availability

We work to keep Krave reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or change as we improve it. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that significantly affect paid use.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Krave at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the service. Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

9. Disclaimers

Krave is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all content will be preserved indefinitely. Recipes and user-provided content are for general informational purposes; use appropriate judgment regarding food safety, allergies, dietary needs, and cooking instructions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krave and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to Krave will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Krave develops. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Krave after updated terms take effect means you accept them.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to Krave using the current support details provided on our website.
